About Me
My story began in Anchorage, Alaska, where I was born and raised.
I enjoyed the beauty of the area by hiking, camping, skiing, and fishing throughout my childhood. The best salmon ever! As much as I enjoy the outdoors, I also love listening to others and hearing their stories.
After moving to Colorado, I remember talking to a friend who was going through a difficult time and wishing I had a few more skills to help her navigate through it successfully.
I had the desire to help others, but needed more training. It was a few years later that I headed back to school to become a counselor.
I am excited to be able to offer support, a listening ear, and professional training to guide you through the challenges you are facing at this time. Iām also thankful to be able to add researched methods and widely accepted therapies to give you the best care possible.
On a spiritual note, I am a follower of Jesus Christ. My personal relationship with Him has given me hope, freedom, purpose, and joy! Although this faith is the foundation of my life, I understand that my clients may not share this same belief, and that is okay. I choose to respect and value my clients whatever their beliefs may be. I am also open to bringing faith into our discussions according to your preferences.
